I have gotten a message from the same number using 813-990-0604 and then they leave this number 1-305-396-4223. No information, just saying it is very important that you contact us by today. You have a pending file with your name and social on it and we need for you to call immediately.
i got the call i answered it and some douche on the other line said i have a pending lien against me and said something about the IRS. I have been in the Middle East for the last 3 years on a DOD contract so I know for a fact I have not been here to do anything that would result in a lien. Besides that the DOD would yank my security clearance IF i had anything derogatory on my credit. So i hung up and programmed the number with the label scam - do not answer...so I wouldnt answer it. I think i will make a point to SCREEN ALL calls from now on.
This company is ARG Law Firm. They practice fraudulent collection practices and try to collect debts that people do not actually know by being aggressive and using scare tactics. This actually works on vulnerable people, including the elderly and mentally ill. When they call, please do your civic duty and collect as much information as you can such as the caller's name, their direct phone number, their physical address, and their supervisor's name. Then, write a letter to your state's attorney general (found in your local government guide online) and REPORT THEM!!! The only way to stop these ba4tards is to fight fire with fire. Protect those who cannot protect themselves. I have reported several of these criminals to the Minnesota Attorney General, Lori Swanson, and has been quite effective in preventing them from operating in Minnesota. Please, do your part!!!
