Received a call, from Francesca Ormeno... Nueratel or Nuera Telecom. They don't care about the do-not-call list. They have been calling for 2 years, and I keep reporting them.
Please, get all the information and report them, and eventually they will be fined and will stop calling us.

Get basic info: Telemarketer's name, Telemarketer's phone, Day and time of the call.
Have been getting numerous calls asking if I speak Spanish. I tell them NO, remove my telephone # from their calling list. If not I will report them. It was quiet for a few weeks. Now the calls have started up again!!

Just because we have a Spanish last name doesn't mean that we have to be exposed to this abuse and infringement on our privacy.
same deal calls askes if we speak spanish we say no they hang up. has been going on for about 2 years now. we are on the canadian do not call list and we thought at 1st it was a wrong # then it kept up at both houses.
On Feb 3, received again a call from them and reported it to the "do not call" list, because they called numerous times before.
Today Feb 24, at abt 10:30 AM I AGAIN received a call from this company. I asked him if he sells products, he said NO!! I despise them!! I have told them numerous times to remove our tel # from their calling list, but they keep on calling!!
Last night the called me again and I asked to speak with the supervisor. A person called Ricardo Sarmiento or something answered. I tried to explain to him that I asked repeatedly to be removed from their database, he was defensive from the get go, speaking loud and asking me: "Do you work? Well this is our job!" (As a thief or a spammer are jobs too but the right to work doesn't justify it) At some point of the conversation I gave him the "Seinfeld", I said: "Look, we're not getting anywhere and I have stuff to do, why don't you give me your home number and I call you later".- He said: "No I won't. Why do you want my home number?" And I told him: "Oh, you don't want people calling you at home, right? Well, now you how I feel" (I'm not kidding) Finally he told me that in order to stop receiving calls from "all telemarketers" (they're the only ones who call) I have to get my number unlisted from the white pages AKA 411Canada. I told him that using that to sell rubbish not only is wrong but it's probably against the law and that I won't do that. I wrote to 411 explaining the situation, I plan to write a complaint with the Telecommunications Commission and I advice you to do likewise. 411Canada has a disclaimer at the bottom of their website stating that "Use of the information in Canada411 for commercial or illegal purposes is strictly prohibited" I think this is a serious issue and I hope you don't let them get away with this by complaining with the Tele Commission and not just dodging the call. Next time they call you, don't hang up or take it up with the poor guy who is making like $9 an hour, ask for the supervisor, get back some info you can use to stop them and give them the "Seinfeld".
