I received another call from the same guy Jack Bonner using phone numbers 305-507-4761& 646-205-3834. He said he was with Bonner and Associates law firm. I have been getting these calls on and off for the last 1 year and a hlaf. They always say its from a pay day loan that was never paid back. I never took out a pay day loan. What the heck am I supposed to do? How do I get rid of these annoying and harassing phone calls? How do they get so much of our personal info.?
This man called me first time said he was Mark Allen then introduced himself as Mark Smith he has my ss #, he has my DOB, he has my email address & said that he had been monitoring it & knows that i use it every day. He said that i had a loan put into my checking account and that they have been trying to reach me through email & because i have not responded to any of their statements or emails they need the phone number to my attorney because they are pressing federal charges against me for numerous counts of check fraud & theft by check. I have never received a loan and i have never commited check fraud or theft by check, i have never had a hot check. I told him this. I am not feeling comfortable with any of this right now. Not sure how to handle this at this point.
I received a call from this number. The individual leaves a rude message, sounds like a recording. I don't answer the call no way. I thought I blocked the number, but he keeps calling, which is weird and scary....I am not comfortable and want this to stop.
I got the same call, he said his name was Liam Anthony yet he has an Indian accent! Really?! So I laughed at him & said "OK Steve or John or Mike or what was your name again?" He said "No my name is Anthony, I mean my name is Liam Anthony with Bonner & Associates what is the name of your attorney?" So I laughed at him some more & he got angry at me, like I care! Don't stress or worry about what they say, they're scam artists from India trying to rip people off. I told him "I'm going to go google his number & have a nice f*cking day assh*le!!" I don't think he was expecting my response, I just kept laughing at him! Now his number is blocked so I won't get anymore calls. But I think they got my information from when I was applying for stuff online. That's the only way I can think of. They're trying to scam people from America into sending them money, they're going to keep harassing people and see who will pay, because if they get 1 out of every 10 or 20 people to send them money that's a win for them. They don't care who they have to harass to get it as long as they get something from someone they don't care. If they call 500 people in a day-which I'm sure they call a LOT more than that-and 10-20%of those people send them $300-$1,000, that's a LOT of money!! They think that they'll harass some people so much threatening them & everything else that they eventually give up & pay them! DON"T DO IT!!! Stand your ground, don't pay them!! They're a bunch of bullies & [***] that are jealous that we live in America and instead of getting off their [***] & getting a job they harass hard working Americans & try to rip them off! I'm pretty sure I shocked them with my language & some of the things that I said to the prick but I don't care!!! They're not getting a cent from me!!
