They called my office which is for a apartment complex. She asked all kinds of questions about the vacancies then hung up on me. This is the 3rd call I got over the last few months from them. The caller id says Bank Of America but it is clearly some scammer. If I call the number back it goes to a blank voicemail then hangs up on me..
They call 2-3 times a day. I finally called the number and received a message with directions on how to be placed on Bank of America's "Do Not Call List." I followed the directions. Said it takes up to 30 days to take effect. Either the calls will stop, or I just asked for even more calls. Time will tell.
If you have Bank of America for your mortgage, they're calling you even if you're on the Do Not Call List because I'm sure somewhere in all the stuff we signed we gave them permission to call us. They're trying to sell a Total Home Protect home appliance insurance plan. Search Total Home Protect on-line and see how horrible the reviews are. They want you to pay an extra $50 a month for this plan, and it looks like it's next to impossible to get good service or to have them actually pay for something.
