Glad I got the call ... he also stated that the number was "toll free" ... last time I knew 305 area code is not toll free. How do you stop these people? We are already on the do not call list ... this is crazy!!!

A call from this number promised that I had won a large amount of money. The catch, send $ 500.00 to have the money delivered by a government agent in the form of cash. The caller identified himself as David Perez, federal gaming warden from Florida. Jonathan Smith, Insurance agent from Las Vegas (1-702-583-7555) also called in regard to this so called prize. They both were very persistant and called repeatedly, in an imtimidating manner. They gave the name of Global Insurance Advisiors (1-800-445-1839) as the main company that handles unclaimed prize monies. They said to wire the $ 500.00 to a Jenny Green, in Colony Beach, Virginia. Please take note that this a scam and they will gladly take your money with nothing in return. I found out that this was a scam, so I did't sent them any money.
Received a phone call at 5:58 a.m., person with accent sounds oriental,on January 6th, from a person identifying himself as a special agent from the US treasury department and that my dad had won a Publishers Clearing House secondary prize of 450,000 dollars. Would have been very tough for dad to enter to win anything since he died last spring. The person wanted 1,500 dollars in order to send the Brinks truck with the cash. Then asked in what method I would like to take care of the $1,500.00. Kept him talking for over half an hour but never did give him any information that he could use. Finally hung up and checked on line and found out these people were running this scam from CA and now apparently have moved to FL.
