I received a call from this number and they left no voicemail message. Someone called my dad, who is in his 80s, and told him that he had been hacked. Not knowing better he gave them access to his computer and they locked it up. They wanted his credit card number to unlock his computer. He refused, thankfully. This happened about a year ago so I had not heard of this prank to inform him about it. He had to take it to a software engineer and have it reprogrammed and another version of windows installed. Never give anyone who calls that you do not know access to your computer. And be sure to inform your parents about this criminal act that's going on.
I just got a call from what sounded like an Indian accent and man told me my computer had been hacked, wanted me to log on to it. I told him no and he kept trying to talk over me. I told him to stop calling and take me off their list. SPAM!!!!
Just received a call from this number. The Middle Easter/ Asian rep said he was calling from Microsoft and my computer was hacked. I'd asked which computer? He asked how many I had under my name. I don't know how he obtained my name. This is a Scam!!!.
got a call from this number. said from Windows and my computer had been hacked. asked how he got my number and he said my computer was registered with this number. Impossible. It was a business computer that the info was dumped from and given to me. he did have my email address. asked for his number and was give 855-835-5324. This is an FBI tip line. I asked him to take me off his list and he just talked over me.
