I received a call from this number and they left no voicemail message. Someone called my dad, who is in his 80s, and told him that he had been hacked. Not knowing better he gave them access to his computer and they locked it up. They wanted his credit card number to unlock his computer. He refused, thankfully. This happened about a year ago so I had not heard of this prank to inform him about it. He had to take it to a software engineer and have it reprogrammed and another version of windows installed. Never give anyone who calls that you do not know access to your computer. And be sure to inform your parents about this criminal act that's going on.

I just received a call at 6:39 am. I answered and heard people speaking in the background and I said hello twice and then they hung up. I tried to call right back but got a Verizon message saying the number was no longer in service. I did the reverse look-up and found out it was a Michigan number but not associated with a business or address. I'm blocking the number.
Got call today--didn't answer because of 000.Glad I didn't Last week early in the AM, got a call from microsoft scam. Just hung up when oriental.Indian voice started talking.
My mom gets a call from this number from time to time. Same thing as above person says there from microsoft though I know better I was not home at the time of call but she told me that she told the guy to call back so that I can talk to him. It seems he never did call back.
I called the said number and it did not go through.
Now for those who wrote above and for those people who read in the future. This is a spam number They will not I mean will not shut down your email they will not shutdown your goggle accounts. What they are after is your money they ask that if they can access your computer remotely and then they have there so called tech do a virus scan which he does not do. Now just to let you know Microsoft will never call you unless you were to call them and ask for a call back. Microsoft does not have the time nor the man power to do such a thing so please do not let these people have access to your computer or any financial information.
