Called twice today, once on cell phone and one at work ~ caller id at work states HFS. Not sure what that is. Couldn't find anything on phone number or name on google search.
Caller ID says HFS. Recorded message said it was Household Financial Services and was "intended only for ________" who happens to be a family member no longer living here. They were threatening legal action for an unpaid loan, which is bogus since this family member never had a loan with them. They left a callback number which was 877-466-2631. Figuring this was a scam but curious, I called that number. Recorded message asked if anyone in the household was over 50 and if so press 1. I did and got a live person (American) trying to sell Medic Alert services. I let him talk until he got to the part where he asked my name and I simply hung up.
