I too got a call for the office manager position by a women named "April" then again I also was given the name "Gillian". I thought it was very strange that when they gave me the address 8205 gravois and I looked it up it was Mid America Arms which is actually connected to that building but a different suite. I also noticed there was no work, contact cards, or even filing cabinets in the first room you walk into, just some loud hip hop music playing! All the blinds were closed and there was a huge white sheet of paper covering the main door. Like everyone else, she told me to park in the 3rd row in the Mid America Arms parking lot due to "there parking lot was supposed to be getting fixed?????" I just thank God that their application didn't ask my social security number! Just by looking at the application I thought something was strange because it was set up very "blah" looking. She too told me they had several different locations...I really wish I would've gone through "Aprils" purse when she walked out the room and grabbed her drivers licenses so we could give this B what she deserves!!!!!
I did the same thing 3 TIMES. The first time I fell for it and then realized within 2 weeks it wasn't worth it. This second time, I went in for the interview, then I knew exactly what they were doing. The last time, they advertised as "Human Resources: Answering phones, filing, organizing." When they called, I told them I knew exactly what they did and that I did not apply for "Entry Level Management Training" but for Human resources. Their perfume is cheap and sucks!!!!!!
I too was called for two interviews and was told that I was hired. I went through orientation and realized too within two weeks it was still sketchy I came home confused and broke. I was waiting for answers but I never got them. Later as i look back on craigslist I can just tell which ones are from them and which ones are not. I wish I saw this post before I even bother WASTING my time with them. But thats okay now. I'm hired by a respectable company who answers ALL my questions professionally.
So glad I got out while I had the chance! BEWARE EVERYONE! that post on craigslist should be posted everyday so people will know!
