I received 3 harassing phone calls in 5 minutes, picked up on the 3rd call and told them to stop calling me, he went right on with his spiel, talked about veterans, I hung up on him and filed a complaint with the national do not call center. I've been on the do not call register for years. I'm sure this was a scam. Have blocked the number.
I think it's definitely a scam. I've received calls from this number, and the same number but ending in 0947 and 0949. All three are blocked now. At the very least, it's some sort of robo-dialer.
