I have a pre-paid cell phone that I rarely if ever use and I am getting that number calling me 20 times a day for the last three days. About ever half hour to an hour they call me. I never answer it because these out of the blue numbers are usually scams. My friend has a regular cell phone and she started getting the calls yesterday. She answered after I told her I was getting them too and they said they were from babytobee.com and that she signed up for free information and free samples for the baby she is expecting in April of 2009. When she asked them how they got this information they hung up on her. An hour later another person called, she answered and they told her the same thing about her expecting in April and how she signed up. She told them she didn't sign up for a damn thing and I want to know how they got her cell number. They told her she submitted it to the site www.babytobee.com. After much pressing she let them know that she certainly did not sign up for the site, she certainly is not expecting since she is sterile and that if they continued to harass her she would call her local police department and the District Attorney to lodge a complaint, then she hung up. They called again about 4 hours later and she answered and told them she was calling the police. They haven't called since. I think that this may have scam written all over it. I certainly do not plan on answering any of their calls, nor will I go to the website because you don't know what kind of features they may have in store to either steal your information or implant viruses into your computer. Maybe contacting the Better Business Bureau will help in this matter.
I checked with the BBB to see if www.babytobee.com was listed there as a problem and it was. Seems that the company cannot be found. I would suggest that no one pick up calls from this number any more. Also there is another phone number they call from.

This number has also called me 25 times in the last 5 days. The times range from 9:00 am to 9:00 Pm. It's driving me crzy. I have not answered it yet cause I didn't recongize the number. Im glad to know I am not the only one!
This number is also calling me. I emailed the FCC and filed a complaint. I also called my cell company and set up smart call on my phone so I could block them. Go to FCC website and file a complaint.
