This man calls pretending to be an officer of the law. Some kind of investigation unit and will try to charge you with a ridiculous charge by phone and tell you to either turn yourself in or pay a fine of 400 dollars
This caller is an officer .my nephew had same incident happen.we thought it was fake n 3 weeks later he was afrested for sexual charges involving a minor..now we are hiring an attorney and was told that theres an amount of time thats mandatorry for these offenses . apparently the girl was a minor and he is only 25 .i dont get ut but we will see whag happens.so proceed with caution when deali g with this guy.there may be so e truth to what he is saying.my nephew spoke to him and asked me aboug it and i was floored and said dont qorry about it.and sure enough trouble came.will post more as i get the details
Do you seriously think anyone here is stupid enough to believe that? A guy calls up claiming to be a police officer and looking for money to not file charges. Did you ever hear the word BRIBE, because those are illegal. If your relative had truly committed a sex crime with a minor, the police (that would be the real police) would have picked him up immediately and questioned and/or detained him on the spot. He would not have been able to pay his way out of those or any other criminal charges. So my advice to you is to go back to school, get an education, and stop stealing from people. Staying in the life of lying and stealing will only end up poorly for you.

Let's see, the supposed "officer" calls one individual and who knows how many others, with threats of charges or pay now and you come on here and give this story about "sexual charges involving a minor"? No officer is going to call and demand money to stop/drop any charges what so ever. Spare us the future details.
Im going by what had happen .so all of you jsut wait amd see.all i know is it didnt happen over night charges reflect a few weeks back.ourr attorney stated that its not tv or the movies and proper channels and steps must be taking to obtain celluler records and also warrangs to be filed .i told him NOT to pay anything and to not worry about it and ultimatly it was not a gag ,or a scam.so you guys enjoy your life and freedome while your still in society.i dont agree with the finacial end of things nor have i verbally spoke to supposed officer.i do know at this point some records show that caller id idicates numbers that are legitimate police landline numbers.so i suggest you look into yiur own situations mire cleary.i came on here to look uo number amd [***] more info on that number.goodluck and godbless to all
