I received the call today 10/14/15 at 4:00 p.m. Please stop this scam! I was asked to call 314-449-9340 because a lawsuit has been filed against me by the IRS. I called the number and asked for their mailing address to give to our sheriff's office and the foreign lady hung up on me. She could barely speak English so I was surprised she could understand what I said.
They called me 3 times in 3 hours and left me recorded messages about IRS lawsuit against me. And since when the IRS will sue anyone? They have other means to collect from you if you owe them any money.
Called me 3 times today and left "IRS LAWSUIT MESSAGE" on first two. I answered third call and after telling them I was a Deputy Sheriff they "checked" and said they were sorry for dialing a wrong number. BIG DUMMIES"
this number calls me in the mornings. Wakes me up. Stating that the IRS is suing me. I've yelled at him several times. I call the number back and harass him :-) stupid scam, some authority needs to take care of this number.
Caller ID says St. Louis Missouri, but they claim to be the IRS. They say the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you, but they don't give a name. There are 5 people in my household that use this phone as a back-up to their cellphones. I'm pretty sure the IRS would have sent notices in writing that you owed them money before considering a law suit. How stupid do these people think we are?
