Who called from 3144499358

IRS scam.  Robot with serious grammar issues - "IRS trying to contact you. IRS need you to call back".

Left an incomplete message on the answering machine (only the final part).  The message started in mid-sentence with "to avoid a lawsuit".

From IRS - (paraphrasing)  This is your Final Notice!!  IRS has filed a Law Suit against you.  Must call this number ASAP.

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

8/28/15 @ 8:57am received a robo-call from this number indicating that the IRS was initiating a law suit against me and to call this number for further information.  It's a scam.
