I'm tired of telemarketers and scammers. I'm on the DNC regestry, but that does no good. I would not buy anything over the phone from anyone at any time even if I was in dire need of it.
Call woke me from sleep this morning and didn't have phone turned off for some reason. I said, "Hello" and after a long silence a man answered with "Hello?" Lots of background noise, so I didn't say anything figuring it was a sales pitch. He said he would call back later.
Called and hung up on the answering machine. Caller ID just says "UNASSIGNED".
I have no idea who it was, but if its a veteran's charity, I start getting calls like this every time I donate something at RedRacks.
They take your phone number when you donate, then the calls start. And while I support our troops, I don't like my number being sold, and I wouldn't trust anyone on the phone anyway, especially from "UNASSIGNED".
