received call from 3146272828 and my wife answered it very weak voice said something about veterans and was gone when my wife told him we give nothing through phone calls, only locally where we know who is getting the money. called back and got busy signal.
This one keeps calling here as well. I read elsewhere that it is a "spoofed" number, i.e., it's invalid. In any case we bought a Digitone Call Blocker and this is definitely THE answer to the useless do-not-call list. Since I installed it two days ago, there are 9 calls logged and only one of them is not bogus. Finally, silence and peace. I heartily recommend this product for anyone who is sick and tired of being bothered with these calls. And, no, I don't work for the company that sells it. :-)
