On March 23, 2015, I received two repeated calls at 8:57 a.m. PST, and then three repeated calls at 8:58 a.m. PST. Thinking it was an emergency on the fourth call, I picked up the phone and a man abrasively said he needed to speak with me immediately, saying my name incorrectly which indicated to me that it was not a family emergency as I suspected. I very clearly demanded that he never call me four times repeatedly in less than 30 seconds again, and disconnected the call. He immediately called back, and left an extensive voice mail with false information. It started by saying that his name was Steve Johnson and he is a "compliance officer" with "CPG." He stated that he was "very concerned" that I'm not aware of a serious allegation being made against me, informing me that I did not respond to 10-day notice that was mailed to me at the address on file. This is absolutely untrue, as I check my mail daily and have received no such "notice." He went on to state that this mailing was a "mandated notification" which doesn't even make sense in the context used. He advised that I call back and issue a "final statement," and went on to threaten that he "recommends I govern myself accordingly." Additionally, after calling me repeatedly five times, they contacted my boyfriend, who is working out of state, three times repeatedly until he answered, and were very aggressive in demanding he have me contact them. These tactics are not only illegal, but are taking harassment to a whole new level. I will be attempting to gain their contact information so that I can demand a VOD and have a Cease & Desist processed immediately. I have proactively pulled my credit reports as well, and have no outstanding debt that has gone unpaid. These people are a scam.
Wow...I received a call from the same person but saying I was going to have a warrant issued for my arrest. I am pretty pissed because he hung up saying good luck and that I was going to jail...
