Wow...I received a call from the same person but saying I was going to have a warrant issued for my arrest. I am pretty pissed because he hung up saying good luck and that I was going to jail...
Received call from 314-786-3959.
Indicated I had a debt that was owed and a warrant for my arrest would take place.
I contacted the FTC and the MO State Attorney General and filed a complaint. Also verified with the MO Secretary of State that they are not registered/licensed to conduct business in the State of MO.
The "govern yourself accordingly " crew strikes again. Total scam operation. Ignore the calls and block them. So far as I know, nobody knows where they are located. Call blocker might be of some help.
Don't worry about this. This some sort of debt scamming operation. Consider investing in a call blocker.
Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a DIME until the debt is validated.
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now. If you can find them.
In any event, don't let these people push you around.
Received a call from this number today (314) 786-3950. I didnt call back . My cousin sent me a text message saying to please call her urgently. Said she spoke with someone and they wanted me to contact them immediately that I had a felony and they had been trying to call me for a couple weeks. I called back and was told I issued a bad check to pay a loan off and they gave me a check number told me who i banked with .... If I didn't pay off 900.00 to the victims today they would issue a case number and warrant for my arrest. They kept saying it was a courtesy call but at the same time they were very threatening. They were asking to pay with a debit or credit card. I told the lady this was a scam and I was not going to pay anything over the phone . She said well keep thinking its a scam u will say something different after u been sitting behind the bars for 90 days .Then they transfered me to the "clerk" said I could go to jail for 1 to 2 years . This number is now blocked . Do not believe these people they are only trying to take ur money
