I received a call from this company about a payday loan from a woman named Monica Johnson who was very rude. She said I owed for 3 checks and wanted to know what I wanted to do about them. I told her that I would pay them and then she wanted a credit card number. I explained to her that I don't have a credit card and she started getting very rude again and talking over me while I was trying to explain to her I needed her to send me proof in the mail to pay it and I would send a money order. She just hung up on me. I called back and explained to her that I was not in good health and since I had a few heart attacks last year that I have a memory problem but I would be glad to pay if it is something that I owe and she told me she doesn't have to prove anything or give any receipt and she will only take payment by credit card but since I didn't have one that she was just going to have me but in jail for 3 counts of fraud. Then she said "I'm just going to go sign warrants to have you put in jail since you don't want to work anything out." I tried to tell her for like the 5th time that I did want to work something out and make payments but she just hung up on me. A couple of weeks later a woman named Nicole Wallace called me from the same number so I tried to return her call but the woman named Monica Johnson answered and refused to transfer me and would not let me speak to anyone else and just said that there are 3 warrants for my arrest and that they still didn't want to work anything out that they just wanted me to go to jail. I called the sheriffs office and they told me that there was 1 warrant for me to go to court and that I could come by and pick it up this week because I had already missed the court date and have it rescheduled for another time.
314-839-0027 keeps calling my phone number saying they are "Barnes Smith & Associates" and want me to call back about a claim against me......Filed BK in 2009 and now they are trying to collect from me....Let the Lawyer handle it. Also, sent a letter to States Attorneys Office to let him know that everyday, 4 x a day they are calling and harrassing me and that I am under the protection of the US Bankruptcy Court to see what he will do to them.
someone called my mother and said that i was going to jail from this office when i called back i got a lady that gave the phone to some guy when i asked what this was about he said a check for a payday loan called missouri loan center from 2007 i told the guy i payed this to smith klein and [***]. in 2008 and i had proof then this man got very rude and went off to the deep end [if its not payed i will have to turn myself to the police] i called the company that i payed and talk to steve walters and he was just as rude he wanted more money when this account was settled both company or scams DONT PAY THEM A DIME PAY WHO EVER YOU OWE DIRECT....I WISH I DID
Received a call from this # today, a female who just said she was "with mediation"....was extremely rude and unprofessional towards me, regarding a payday loan I had taken out last year that needs to be paid. I advised her I spoke with a man one other time from her company who said the same thing, and advised her I did not make a payment to them when previously contacted as I have NEVER received any sort of confirmation or documentation from their company that confirms I am paying them for a dept I owe to World Financial, and when I advised this woman of this, she told me "she wasn't the one to get rude with" and would call for a warrant against me....called me names and refused to agree to send me any sort of confirmation of payment. Needless to say, I will be paying World Financial directly, and will curse this company into next week if they call me again....and then will have the #s blocked :o)
