Do not give these people any information. It's a scam. They call from multiple different numbers, one is 801-520-1980, and they say they're from your credit card company and they just need your card number and personal info to see if you're eligible to lower your interest rate. They then tell you you're not and use all your info to wipe you out. This is what I've read on another site when I researched the 801 number, and it's the same people because it was the exact same recorded message.
DON'T GIVE ANY INFORMATION AND PUT YOURSELF ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY IF YOU'RE NOT ALREADY ON IT SO YOU CAN START FILING COMPLAINTS EVERY TIME THEY CALL YOU.
My phone number IS on the National do not call registry https://www.donotcall.gov/changeLang.aspx?returnpage=register&lang=en-US
This does not stop 323-204-6190 from robo calling. I pressed 9 and Paula asked if I had more than $3,000 in credit card debt. I said I was interested in learning more but wanted to know who I was about to do business with. She said we are "Client Services" and our phone number is 800-847-2911
I followed this link https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx to file a complaint.
total scam and they make it sound like you already have an account with them. i stayed on the line, listened to the recording, and then pressed 9 like it prompted - when a rep came on the line, he asked me if I currently have over $3,000 in credit card debt - when I said no, he hung up on me. they are looking for people who have a lot of credit card debt and want to consolidate it onto one card (their card) at a lower interest rate.
