A woman who never introduced her name called and left a message stating I have a pending case with riverside county court house with a case # CA 41419. One thing, the phone # is from a 323-282-5892. She even stated that this message is recorded. I went to the riverside county court house website and the case # never existed. I called back the # 323-282-5892 and a man answered with the name Darrel. This is a scam because she used my maiden name which I never used. THIS IS A SCAM!!! Please do not provide $.
On October 16th, 2014, a round of calls again to my cell, home, mom, brother Rick. This time a man “Alan Moore”.
I called back the 2nd number (844) 515-8189 to ask for a mailing address. Refused to give an address. Told me not to call from a blocked number and to “be honest with yourself” and hung up.
Called back the 1st number. Lady was nicer but would not give me any information at all and instead connected me with the first rude guy. I asked to be connected back with her and he said “No.” and connected me with “Bill Spencer”. "Bill" told me they were the “LDA Group” (they have a fake website) but still refused to give me a mailing address. He rattled off a few things about me after I gave him the reference number (I used to own a business – years ago - and they knew that). I told him I am not going to talk to him anymore and that if anything about this call was legit he would have no problem giving me a mailing address. He said “You do what you have to do, we will do what we have to do.” And hung up on me.
