He'll also be shut down if nobody's answering his calls in any way. Numbers with no answer eventually become worthless and a scam can't happen without a victim.
This is a company called Swift Funds Financial. I didn't pay my 24 Hour Fitness account and they sued me for the balance of my contract. It was $400 but I ended up paying nearly $1,200 with penalties and legal fees. They obtained a judgement against me and garnished my wages for 6 months until it was paid off. . . The judge said it was all allowed for in my contract and there was nothing I could do = ( I really wish I would have read that contract.
Kevin,
Just wondering if he tried to withdraw more money from your accoutn yet? He was EXTREMELY understanding with me as well and then after the account was supposed to be settled and closed out - THEY WITHDREW MORE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT. I agreed on a $360.40 settlement. This was to be made in 2 payments of $180.20. It was... then they waited 2 weeks and withdrew another (unauthorized) $196.20. Not cool. Im concerned that if I dispute it with my bank, SF will try to say I authorized the charge.
I am prepared to file a class action lawsuit due to the high level of complaints I am finding everywhere.
This company contacted me regarding my account with Bally's Gym. I wasn't able to pay my monthly trainer fees and after falling 3 months behind, my full 2 year contract was due and payable. Ballys was filing a lawsuit for $3,000 (with all the collection and legal fees). I worked will a bill collector named Steve Black and he allowed me to pay $76/month to keep the suit from being filed. It was alot easier to make monthly payments than it would have been to do the whole $3,000 at once as Bally's was filing for. . . I couldn't believe that I owed so much, I tried to ignore it until I was served with a subpoena. . Everyone, please take my advice and READ YOUR GYM CONTRACTS before you sign them. They really sticjk it to you
