Called about craigslist ad, wanted to know if item was still available, then offered check as payment and his movers would pick up the item, after the check clears (Note: Banks will release funds on a check for the benefit of its customer without first making sure the check was good. Banks mite release the money after 7 days, but it might take 3 or more weeks for the check to totally clear)
Told caller that his movers could pay me cash when they pick up the item, and if this was a problem, then the caller from (323) 391-8960 must be a scammer.
I never received any return call about the movers being able to pay.
I signed up this douche to every premium text pornography site I could find. Whenever someone asks for my number or a sales man tries to sell to me, I give this number. You're welcome.
Well it looks like this guy is still up to no good!! Got a text today for my Craigslist item, is it still available??
Of course the saga continues. What a waste of time and energy. Thanks WhoCallsMe.
@Jill That is hilarious! I got the same text frim this [***] regarding an item I am selling on craigslist as well. I sent him a text back thanking him for his too enthusiastic text and told him that I would love to sell him my item and that it would need to be in person and cash and I'm sure that he would understand since there are just too many bottom feeders that are trying to survive by scamming people that are way smarter than them. oddly enough.......no reply?
