We Have Signed Up For The Do Not Call List! Ohio Fire Called And Asked For Donations To Our Local Fire Department.. I Called Our Local Fire Dept, And They Stated That No Fire Dept Will Call Asking For Donations And That It Was A Scam. Also Stated That They Or Any Other Fire Dept Has Never Received Donations From This Organization. Somebody Is Putting Honest Peoples Donation Money In Their Own Pocket!! Do Not Donate A Penny!
years ago "FOP" in my town would call seeking donations. come to find out, the scumbag company was from another state, and the "callers" were NOT police officers, as they said they were. the "manager" of the phone room was a "CONVICTED MURDERER", out of prison, doing telemarketing. he would troll "teenanon" meetings to "recruit" telemarketers that he could control by telling the parents the kid was "slipping" back into bad habits etc. same scumbag would bring some of his past prison roomies into town, give them some "TAPS"(they always pay suckers) to put some cash in their pockets till they drifted on to the next con. when they call, DO REPORT THEM, this is the only way they can be busted and stopped.
