I have repeatedly asked this caller to be put on their Do Not Call list and they ignore it!!! So frustrating. My mother had breast cancer and was never given what they supposedly offer to breast cancer patients. Probably a fake company!
Breast Cancer Awareness pitch. It looks like a local cellphone call based on the Caller ID, but it is a solicitation for donations. The caller asked for me BY NAME and, once confirmed, would not stop talking long enough for me to tell them to put me on their do not call list. Very pushy. It MIGHT be a good cause - I don't know - but I do not donate to "cold calls" from such organizations. Too much fraud from so many telemarketers using "worthy-sounding" names whose supposed benefactors get very little (if any) percentage of the funds they extract from sympathetic well-meaning individuals. Call blocked. I will do my own homework to determine which organizations I donate to.
I received a call this morning at 8:09 from this "organization." Since when do legitimate charitable organizations call before 9am asking for a donation? I'm very skeptical this organization (330-302-9061) actually exists. Caller ID is from Lodi, OH.
Received call at 12:04 today .ID'd as the dreaded "Out Of Area". Did not answer, no message. I suspect the "Breast Cancer" connection is a scam, because I have received the same type of call from other numbers. The ID number is probably spoofed. I blocked the number.
