Someone saying that they are a local organization that passes out little teddy bears to kids who have been in car accidents and let them have the bears until the ambulance gets there.. something like that.. begging for donations.
I to made the mistake of answering the phone from this number.It does belong to Telecom and was looking for coins for cops in Stark County.I never heard of this,so I hung up.
I received a call from 330-318-4802. I did a trace on it since I missed the call to identify urgency. Nothing came up as unknown. I called the number and could not leave a vm back. It states God Bless. It is a scam. Who knows if the longer they keep you on the phone, if you are paying for something or not. People...get a life! I have noticed other individuals having the same calls and expressed their concern as well.
Yeah, they called, and said they were collecting money for Teddy bears for kids at accidents, etc. They wanted donations of 20 or 30 dollars. They already had my name and address, and said they will send a packet in the mail to check out. I pledged 20 dollars, and now we'll see what happens. Could be a scam. I probably won't follow through.
