Unrecognized number, from Ohio, same area code as me but I sent to vm, no message left googled number, read other experiences with this number, now blocked from calling me.
CID was Ohio call and they did not leave a message. Lately I have been getting a lot of spam calls from the 330 area code so I assume this is just another telemarketer or scam call.
Call from my area code. Caller ID said Unknown Name", but a lot of friends show up the same way. I said hello and got a male voice that said, "This is Pat." Although I didn't immediately recognize the voice, several people named Pat have a reason to call me. I asked "Pat who?", and the guy launched into a telemarketing sales pitch for (I think) some security system. I told him to stop talking or I'd hang up. He stopped but said nothing. I asked if he was a recording or a person. (I've heard these idiots have robo scripts that respond to simple commands, so if they ask "how are you", most legitimate answers you give will advance their recording). The guy finally said "I'm a person," then more silence. Might have been trying to find his place on his script, or might have been wondering what to do next. During the silence, I said, "What an [***]," and then there was a click sound, and the line went dead. There must be big money in these calls, because they are getting more active day by day, and they are getting more obnoxious. At least, this guy spoke decent English. Most recent calls have been from the Middle East.
This is g e security systems. They wanted to put a small sign in my front yard. Then the guy asked if i was the home owner. I told him i am a renter. He hung up. The call comes from wellsville, ohio. It was a real person on the other end.
