phone company recording says phone number disconnected , obviously a scammer spoofing fake number

got a weird call from this number 330 451-2235. I answered hello, then they said hello, back and forth  until I said, so, you called me. They denied calling me. I've seen it on our caller ID once before as a missed call...dont know what to think...heard voices in the background, like a call center...

thanks for the heads up,got two calls,not home, from canton,Ohio on the caller id, probably a telemarketer or scam. The number peaked my interest as we were just in canton on Sunday and Monday.

I was in the Canton area recently and thought this might be a call regarding personal business. Decided to let it go to voice mail and am glad I did. When I called the number back, I got the "disconnected" recording. Obviously a scam. So sick of scams. It's why I generally screen ALL my calls. Sucks that our personal phones for which we pay a lot of money have been held hostage by these people. Congress needs to act!!!
