The number has called more than once, but I was actually able to answer it when they called today. The representative I spoke with was pleasant and advised me this call was being generated from Commonwealth Financial. I asked for a paper trail so I can keep a record of what bill they supposedly are trying to collect on.
Called unsolicited; the robot prompt said to press 1 if your correct name was given and 2 if it was not. My correct name had not been given.
I was then transferred to a live rep who refused to identify the company, and became belligerent when I refused to identify myself; he said they would call back later.
I offered that the first name was incorrect but the last name was correct, so they therefore had the wrong person. The agent then became a bit less confrontational, and thanked me for the information before hanging up.
Received a call from this number and when I answered it was automated saying that they had an important message and to wait. I did and was transferred to a person who said how could he help me. When I said I wasn't sure because they had called me he hung up on me. When I called back I kept getting looped into a your call cannot be answered as all reps are busy message. What reputable company hangs up on someone and then offers no way to call back. We receive numerous collection calls for my husbands ex wife and I wanted to set the record straight.
They are attempting to collect on a medical bill for mahoning valley emergency center from 2004 i told them to send me the statement with all info cuz my insurance always covered that they have yet to do such they want me to pay it then get reimbursed from my ins. i think its a scam that medical center has never shown up on my bc/bs statements and I dont recall going to the er
