It is the cemetery people . they want to " verify " your address so they can send you the information you requested , I simply ignore their requests . I filled out the card and mailed it now I just want the information sent . do not want to be harassed by a sales person trying to hard sell me something .
This is why I have a magic jack . All they get is a voice mail and I get an email with attachment to listen to if I wish .
Same here. Got the same call, from the same number, my mother recently passed. I never signed for anything which is odd how they got my number. THye did not leave a message, when I went to answer they hung up, I decided to google the number and came across this forum, glad I did.
this call came in while I was having a root canal! I don't answer numbers I do not recognize, and if there is no message, I don't call back. Checking the number online i am happy to be able to list it here.
I just called the cemetary close to my home & this is legit. They are having a special on double plots. Her name is Sandy & she said they do come out to the home or I can meet at the office, which we will do. I suggest calling your local cemetery because there is a lot of them helping to preplan our final hours.
