Unbelievable. I couldn't even tell you the pain this company is. I called back the number (330-529-5377) that had called me multiple times (listed as "Clinton" in the caller ID, because it's from Clinton township in Summit county) and they were the rudest people I've talked to in quite awhile. The first time she wouldn't even give me over to a manager, give me the company name, or tell me why they were calling (citing "personal business" as the reason for the call unless I admitted I was the person they were calling for). She kept asking if I was the person they were calling for and I kept saying it's irrelevant what's the personal business about? She said only for their ears. I said well since it's my house it's for my ears too. She said no and was about to hang up when I said I'm on the do not call list and would appreciate if they didn't call anymore. She said it didn't apply to them and they couldn't stop me from calling (word for word). I said, "Then for the sake of the person's sanity who calls next I'd advise you not to call back". She *literally* said, "you can't stop us from calling until we reach Michael".
Called Windstream Communications (the company Meyer Teleservices gets their phone service from) and after 20 minutes still waiting for a person to pick up I ended up hanging up. Called back Meyer and told them I'd like to not be called anymore. She said she couldn't honor that request. I asked for a manager and she said, "Why are you asking for things and expecting an answer but you won't confirm or deny who you are?". No company in the world with this kind of customer service should exist. It reflects *VERY* poorly on the customers that pay them. I told her I even signed up on their own Do Not Call list, and she said we don't have one. I told her, "that's funny because the one on your site looks real". She said, "We don't have a website". I didn't know what to say (the previous woman told me about the website).
It ended up I told them nobody with that name or that information lives here and she said they'd take me off their list. Unbelievable.
I have been harrassed continuously from this phone number. I have left my number for no more call backs. The calls still continue. There is only a recording when you call this number.
They are cowards not to answer the phone. Any legitimate business would leave a message or have a human answering the phone. I have turned this number over to the attorney general's office. We should all do that. I wish they would find a job they could be proud of, instead of harrassing people.
Have received calls from this number (3 times in past 2 days). Don' t leave messages, but have done as suggested by previous poster and visited their website http://www.callmeyer.com/meyer-teleservices-contact-us.php. I have added my info to their Do Not Call registry. Hope it works. Wish they (telemarketers) all had this opt out option.
