This call from "Red Cross Blood" comes through just about EVERY DAY. They never leave a message so finally I decided to just answer it to tell them to NOT CALL ME ANYMORE. Yesterday (2-21-08) I finally picked up, said hello and got no response. Today (2-22-08) they called again. I picked up and "surprise" once again nobody was there.
I constantly seem to report these annoying numbers yet they still continue. Just what exactly is the point of reporting like this when nothing seems to change?
I've received calls every single day for over 2 weeks. Some calls as early as 8:00 a.m. on the weekends. Never leaves a message on answering machine and line always seemed dead when I answered. Today, someone, a human voice, finally said hello. The caller indicated she was calling "on behalf of" the Red Cross Blood... never indicated it was actually the American Red Cross, but on behalf of. Anyway, caller was very polite and gracious when I asked to have my number removed. She indicated it was compter generated, hence the delay when answering for a person to pick up. Hopefully these calls will now stop.
