These morons keep calling my Sprint cell phone. I've been a sprint customer for about 15 years and have never missed a payment. Sprint clearly sold them a batch of numbers that are screwed up because they're asking for someone that is not associated with this number. I called sprint to make sure my account is fine, and they assured me it is. They offered to change my number of 15 years. I declined because they'll probably just give me another number that's in collections.
But these idiot bill collectors call MY SPRINT TELEPHONE NUMBER daily to collect on a SPRINT ACCOUNT that has been sent to collections?
Could these morons possibly take the time to check if a number belongs to sprint? If it does, and it's still active, IT PROBABLY ISN'T IN COLLECTIONS!!!!!!! HELLO? IDIOTS? Are you capable of listening???
The automated line they use to call you has no option for "you have the wrong number", so you must call the number shown on your caller id, which is long distance, and they immediately put you on hold as soon as they answer with a live person. They always call my number for people I have never heard of. I was put on hold for several minutes and then said hello, hello....hello? and they hung up on me. I called back and instantly said "do not put me on hold- I am calling long distance- you guys have the wrong number". The man sarcastically told me I have "no right to call him and make demands". I actually do have the right. I asked for his name and contacted the attorney general for PA (the state of the company) and OH (my home state) and reported the company for harassment and not allowing me to get my number removed from their system.
I have no debts besides my home. I pay all my credit cards in full each month. These guys are not even calling for me. They call for at least 3 different names each time they begin to call. I try in earnest to contact the companies calling the wrong number and they resist it. They hang up- they verbally abuse me- they put me on hold on a long distance call for several minutes just to do something basic like remove my number from their database... I have contacted the attorney generals before. It only stops for a few months. I am on the "do not call" lists... I have finally decided to retain a lawyer because I am sick of it. I am actually going to sue RMS. All their calls to me are now recorded with a machine I bought years ago. I can prove in court they hang up instead of take my request. They refuse to give me their names. Some even provide detailed information about the person they are trying to reach- name, address, number, amount of debt owed, account numbers, car make, model and year. They break the law and don't care. I am going to mess up their cabbage patch so bad they will RUE the day they called me. How is it that they call for 3 different wrong people at the same time?!
