CID indicated "ALERT." I picked up the phone but did not say anything. After a few seconds the robo call started to deliver info about a Medicare supplementary plan. This caller's approach is really deceptive. Using "ALERT" suggests an imminent threat of some kind, especially if you have signed up for alerts from a local government entity or an alert from you home security provider. I would never sign up for any Medicare program that uses this approach.
Also got the call from Salineville, Ohio, wherever that is! Answering machine picked up. Of course, they didn't leave a message. Just a nuisance. Caller ID just read, "Salineville, OH" - no company name.
AHHAAAaaaa, the Free Call Blocking Service has finally caught up with and added this scammer to their list and now has these jerks blocked. We also have a Panasonic Call Blocking Phone and need not add this free blocked scammer to our phone... the free service now has them covered... NEAT!!!
Because so many good folks telephones are being invaded with unwanted scam/spoof callers, several good folks have setup a free call blocking service. On the Internet, Google “free call blocking service” and see what is available, you will be glad you did. You can also get your own “Call Blocking Phone” and call-block all those unwanted callers.
