I was in an auto accident last Wednesday and today (the following Monday) I have received multiple calls (nine this morning from 8:37am to 11:51am) from the following numbers: 330-248-5456; 330-954-3487; 330-238-1015; 330-880-0011 all from what the caller refers to as the National Referral Service. I asked repeatedly for my name & number to be removed from their calling list/internal system. The third person that call after I had repeatedly asked for my name & number to be removed said that I asked for them to call me back. I politely told her that I NEVER asked for them to call me, but had asked that my information be removed from their system ASAP! She continued to ask about injuries and I told her that it was absolutely none of her business and that if I needed referrals I would ask my primary care physician. She then got upset and said fine I am reporting NO injuries. I never said I wasn’t injured, just that I wasn’t sharing any information regarding the accident with her or anyone from her company!
Just to let people know this number is from an attorney that is going to talk you into going to a doctor they set you up with that will force you to file a claim with your insurance company and send you to doctor's or place's that are part of their team, so to speak, who they will tell you that you won't have to pay and once you get to the location they tell you that you have to file a claim with your insurance company to get them paid or you have to pay yourself. My auto accident came out this morning, it happened on Saturday afternoon. The effort is to get you to sue the responsible party so they can take a large portion of the money that you would obtain.
