somebody called me stating that i was been sued for worthless checks and they will give me a setelman of $2400... Attorneys office nad Offecer Jones form Orange county ...with a VERY HEAVY middle eastern accent!!.... that i was going to jail for 30 days!!,,,
This number called me stating they were calling from New York law firm of Baker & McKensey. They stated that I owed money and had been reported by the State Credit Bureau to the National Security Department. They have my work number cell number and home address. They said my accounts will be frozen and I will be arrested and jailed for 180 days.
I received a call from a gentleman, strong thick accent, with an american name, saying I need to return his call or he wished me the best for everything will unfold on me. I have had several cases that I have filed on due to this type of fraud. This is just another idenity theft call. Never left a company that he worked for.
What a joke!! The men who called me had a thick accent form India and spoke broken English.
I received a call stating I was named in a law suit involving Cash USA. I supposedly extracted monies using my email to get money and fraudulently cashed checks. They asked for my attorney's name and said I was being charged with a felony. I feel bad for those who get sucked into these calls.
I told him fine. I will give his number to the police and they can handle it for me and hung up. Now I see all thee other postings.
