Person with a very thick East Indian accent called to help me with my computer problems. I asked how did he know I was having problems and he said something that I could not understand. I think these people have some kind of control with my computer. I paid a similar Company about 1 1/2 years ago who said they were with Yahoo but they didn't fix the problem. when I called the service number I was given, it was a women who didn't seem to know about the company. I contact my bank to report it. They gave me a credit but then after a few months my acct. was charged again.
Some fellah with an Indian accent tells me he's from GS Tech support. I pay my mortgage supporting advanced Microsoft Datacenter and software technologies. I blocked him with my call blocker.
Received a call from this # 347-098-8765, told me he was calling in reference to my computer. Told them I did not have one, he mentioned the name of someone in my household and I told him there must be a mistake. He apologized and hung up.
I knew it was a scam the minute I heard his voice.
I received a call from 347-098-8765, my caller ID said name unavailable, very strong accent so I made him spell it out. He said he was from I6 IT Support & my computer OR laptop was making phone calls from my home number, which totally made no sense & he needed to help me fix it. I asked him what days this had occured, he sputtered & then said a bunch of days. I then told him I hadn't been on my computer or laptop and hung up, he called back but left no message.
