yes, same number 347-166-5870 - the number was on my home number last week as a missed call and I looked it up... just now, see the number come up on my cell phone, answer "LOSE MY NUMBER" .. ms Delhi tells me its not a scam and that I'm being awarded, blah blah blah... I asked her, so tell me, where are you calling from? next thing I hear is dial tone... how does this scam go on so long with a number that obviously identifies it as a scam?
This number called me and the accent sounds like someone from overseas. They have called me 20x a day and harass me. I said I would report them to the FCC and the guy JEFF still would not hang up. When I hung up he called back. I asked to speak to the manager and he told me he knows where I live and everything about me. This is beginning to be threating, who do I report this too, or how can I report this?
Oriental male and female claimed to be calling from the Federal government to give me .a $7000 grant because I do not have a criminal record and have not filed bankruptcy in the last 6 months. They give a claim number and ask me to call 202-600-8694 to give information to collect the money.
Called by these folks daily. Each time it is a man with a foreign accent. He asks for a name I do not recongnize. I have responded with "wrong number" and "please take me off your calling list" and "stop calling me every day!" Nothing seems to do the trick. He hangs up and then calls back later. I just don't answer anymore.
