Received a phone call, Caller ID showed it as "New York Call" from 347-166-5870 Caller stated his name is "Scott Henry" from the US Fed. Grants Dept. and that I was selected for a "FREE Grant". When I demanded that caller give me his number so I can call back for verification, he got defensive stating he was "not authorized" to give me that information and that I should go to the government website for it.
He then tried to continue stating that I have been selected to receive a $7,000.00 grant. I again demanded his phone number, this time he got rude and offensive then hung up the phone. I tried to call the number on my caller ID only to get a message that my "call could not be completed as dialed"
This is the 5th call from this number in the past 3 months.
CALL from. they said this is the nme Calling at the U.S. Fed. Gov. & my name & # was picked computerized & they have been trying to get up with me two wks. I Know... & I was getin a one time 2014 Stimulas payment for $7,000... They needed two things. 1. my full name,address,zip,mothers maiden name, 2. what was my credit card # ,,Bank Acct. # . Verify my S.S. # . & The U.S. Fed. Gov. would have my Gov. $7,000 mailed. after they Could comform one tome 19.95 Postal payment. (they own the Postal) I asked. The man said like a F.B.I. agent.this is a stimulad I had to take & give the info needed . this is the U.S. Fed. Gov.. I hung up.
