For those of you asking how someone can leave a vm on your phone without making it ring, Lu answers this question if you go back to page 2 and read the comments there. According to Lu, an app called SlyDial lets you leave a message without ringing the phone -which would be fine if it were from a friend, but it's creepy from a telemarketer/scammer!

"Hello KCMO2. That definitely is a phishing scam site, so good eye and judgement in not visiting that site. With regards to a possible block this may work: if your phone allows you to block a contact from your phonebook, create a contact for Slydial using this number - 267-Sly-Dial (267-759-3425)

Phone never even rang! (It was right next to me on a table.) I just received a Notification on my iPhone that I had a missed call and voicemail!
How do they leave voicemail without even ringing the phone???
I looked up the # on this site. THANKS. I at least have the satisfaction of deleting the voicemail without listening to it.
P.S. What happens when millions of cell phone owners eventually block Billions of telephone numbers. Spoofed or real; will the telephone system become useless ?!?!
Got the call 10 minutes ago from "Obama care" one thing that isn't even the official name of the affordable care act so Umm no. This is the second time I have received a call from these people
Just got missed call notification on my phone. The phone was right next to be and it never rang. No voice message left either. Very strange. Another scammer.
Charles about obamacare...it's a scam...this guy goes by 2 different names and there's a woman who calls sometimes...they call from Florida and new york and the callback number is a cell phone according to someone else who checked up on it
