They've broken the Fair Collections Act by threatening an arrest so even if it was a legitimate debt owed they've made it null and void. Collectors are obligated to notify you that they are attempting to collect a debt and are not allowed to make threats. These guys are the worst! Block the number.
Just received exact message as mentioned above. Man with foreign accent from State PA Headquarters telling me there is a warrant for my arrest and a legal suit being filed against me, but he never provided a name of who the warrant was for. He said to call attorney Nathaniel Edwards within the hour. I will not call. This is definitely a scam. If there was a warrant for my arrest or a lawsuit against me, I would have been served papers.
Similar message and accent. Did not mention my name. Lawsuit pending and arrest warrent would be issued within the hour if I didn't call lawyer nathaniel Edwards ( A guess at the spelling) at 347-779-0198. Really love to kick his butt.
