Wow you guys are lucky that they're only calling you 2-4 times a week. I've had the same freaking people use about twelve different numbers and they have called me thirty times today since about 10:00am. I'm getting really pissed off.
It is obvious the caller spoof his/her number to confuse the their ID. In my view all the calls comes from the same person and the same location. If someone has a fool proof method to find their true number, and list it here we all can sue the owner of the phone for $1500.00 for every incident as per FCC email in response to complains posted on their website. We can pass the word to stay alert and pin down the true ID and number of the owner.
I got another call from these people. I honestly don't know how they got my cell # as I NEVER use the cell. Didn't answer, but I recognized the #. I've gotten lots of these calls (never answered, just checked here and found the #'s were scam operations). I've tried blocking them (they call my cell only--not land line) but there are just too many numbers, so I ignore the ID #'s I don't recognize. I wonder if I answer, and tell them I don't have any debt, if they'd leave me alone?
Just got a call from these pests. When I don't recongnize the area code I just ignore it until it goes to my voice mail. Then I put it in my blocked call list so when they call again or any of the other 34 that I just deleted from my blocked call history call again it goes right to my voice mail and of course they don't leave a message with the exception of one who says I'm eligible to lower my credit card interest rate. They are sneaky to. I'll get a call maybe the next day or so later and it's the same area code but they have a diffent number. Maybe some good news. Just heard on TV that they are introducing a bill that will be a I think Federal Violation for tele-marketers that use a recorded message to bug people will be fined real strongly. Hope it gets through asap.
I am on the do not call list. Received a call from 386-202-2002 on my cell phone on 2/22/12 at 1917 hours EST. Trying to sell me credit card with lower interest etc. Too bad I don't have any credit card debt to lower. Pressed "3'" to remove my number from their list. I should have pressed "1" and gave them a piece of my mind. Hard to block since they use revolving numbers.
