After registering at a state fair for a free vacation, I was called from this number and told that was selected to recieve a vacation package but I had to pay a processing fee. the whole thing made me wary. I agree that it sounded like a call center. the phone call also sounded similar to something a vacuum selling company I worked for would do. Tell them they were selected to recieve a free item, only they needed to sit through a demonstration with us for our vacuum. You did get the item free, but it took 2 hours of your time. This sounds like they take your time and money, and who knows if you get anything in return.
This #called me this evening (9pm) to tell me that I won a vacation from Oasis vacations after entering a contest at a bridal show. It just sounded so fake and when I asked what the catch was , the man on the other end replied "if u don't want it we'll give it to someone else" and then he told me to get in a better mood and hung up. It was soooo loud on the other end u could tell it was a call centre with people telling other people they too have one a vacation I'm sure!
