Some guy with a thick accent called and said he had my social security number and after that I asked him if he thought I believed this call? I could see it was from FL. He hesitated and then said why not at which time I presided to DISCONNECT!!! SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!
Didn't answer the call and the voicemail was automated about "an existing credit card." I think this is a scam and possibly a violation of the TCPA robo-call laws. The caller ID said Lake City, Fl. According to a Google search for call centers in Lake City, Sitel Corporation has a processing / "Customer Service" location there.
Scam, attempting to get credit information. Kept them on the line while I watched a show, occasionally telling them I was still looking for my credit card. Started laughing and he shouted obscenities and hung up.
