They just called my eldery moms cell phone & woke her up, she was up most of the night not feeling well. I know this because she's staying with us, rude inconsiderate dirt bags. I tried getting to her phone before that happened. We as Americans who pay for our phones (in her case I buy her minutes) shouldn't have to deal with this anymore. When will it ever stop. I wish we could sue them & the big phone companies for letting this abuse continue. To me this should be considered elder abuse, phone scams etc.
They left a message. Didn't listen to all of it, but it said congratulations you have been approved for a credit card rate reduction. I then proceeded to block that number.
Got a call from this phone and someone started to mumble something about coupon I received in November. I asked for the company name to report it to AG and he immediately disconnected.
The voice mail message simply said "to talk with a live representative, press 1 now." I called this number, which was on my Caller ID, and it was answered by a recorder message stating the it was my final notification of a change to lower the interest rate on my credit card. Soon thereafter, a human came on the line. I hung up.
