Received a call last week from this energy group asking if the electric bills were a $100.00 dollars or more a month that they can schedule a person to come by and look at your home and suggest ways in saving on your energy costs. They said both Husband and Wife would have to be present. I told them that weekends were the best time for us to be available. We scheduled today 3/19/16 at 12 noon. At 12:07 we received a call form this number 1-386-479-6393 which caller ID identified as Shelby L. Bates. She told my wife that she was running a bit behind in her schedule and will call when she is on her way. I have called several times and left messages and have not received any response. It is now 4 !/2 hours later and still no response. I did however receive a call from this energy group telling me that this would be their final attempt to schedule agents to show how I could save money on my electric bills. I stopped her sales pitch and informed her of the above info. She of course was very apologetic and said she was e-mailing the situation to her manager. I tried to call the 386-479-6393 and the Homosassa number that caller ID recorded 352-621-4876 as the number of this Energy Group. The only thing that happened from all this is this Energy Group and Shelby L. Bates wasted my entire Saturday waiting for them. I had plans that will now have to wait until next Saturday. If you receive a call from this group do yourself a favor, tell them no thanks and hang up!
Company using this phone has been calling my mother in law saying they are an energy company and they need to come to the house and look at her AC and "any other areas she might have issues" Rep (male) used typical pressure sales tactics to wear her down and raise her anxiety level to such a point that she just wanted to get him off the phone so she booked an appt with him. She told him she needed to speak to her son and he, disrespectfully, stated "well aren't you the home owner? It says it right here on my information. You're the home owner, so why do you need your son to make decisions for you". (Typical rude sales technique I know they are trained to do) Of course, she called her son right after and we freaked out....when you call the numbers back (they call using many different ones) it doesn't give a company name, no one answers, and/or it says you can't leave a message...RED FLAG. The guy DID show up and I'M SO HAPPY HIS TIME WAS COMLETELY WASTED. My mother in law didn't answer the door and he sat out there like a dumbass for 10 minutes, left, the company immediately called her from a different # and left her a message about missing the appt, then the guy CAME BACK TO THE HOUSE AGAIN 5 minutes later. He deserves to have his time wasted working for a company that operates like this. Notice I say "a company" because we've all tried to figure out who it was through all the phone numbers and STILL can't find a company name. I told her if they call again to book another appt, because she'll have family members meeting this rep in the driveway.................
