"Annabelle" from the "Awards Claim Center" left voice mail on my work number claiming that I'd won either a Ford Explorer or $25,000. Requested that I return call at 1-800-918-4224 and reference claim # FNTP3112. Call came in at 10:13am EDT on Saturday, 8/4/07.
They called me at my work number 2 days in a row - and it was "Carmen" but 2 different voices, huh?!?!
I won a Ford Explorer - yeah, right!! I would never register for a Ford prize, even if they did give it away.
"Mandy" from the Awards Claim Center left a voice mail at my place of business claming that I had won either a Ford Explorer or $25,000. Requested that I call her back as soon as possible at 800-918-4224 with my claim number WB764. My caller id showed a number 386-538-7515. I researched both telephone numbers online and found that others like me had similar same experiences.
As noted by several others, this similar to theirs call came in on August 28, 2007, 4:04 pm, Caller ID stated: Unknown Name 386-538-7515; answering machine took it, and there was a woman's voice, friendly sounding, noise in background like others calling. She said she was "calling from the Awards Claims Center. We've been trying to reach your for some time. You have won either a brand new Ford Explorer or $25,000 in cash. This is your last notice. Our toll free number is 1-800-918-4224, and your claim number is WB764." No, they had not tried before; no I did not call them back.
Just recieved this call @ 3:30 this afternoon...I let the machine pick it up since I don't answer #'s I don't recognize...just like you guys...."Carmen" urging me to call because I'd won a Ford Explorer and to call back....I'm not going to waste my time with it.
