can't call them i tried to and the number says that it has been disconnected. i called my phone company and was told those kind of people can call out but no one can call them.
Received a call from 386-677-4806 per caller ID. Call went unanswered. I am a frequent recipient of the "Lower your credit rate calls," since I have made this company (I am quite sure it is originating from one federation of individuals) very upset in the past (tee hee).
They are phishing apparently. Initially a recording comes on and tells me that this is the LAST courtesy call regarding my credit account, press 1 to talked to me. I did. I asked "ARE YOU A CREDIT COLLECTION AGENCY???" Told me that they were from Bank of America, I had a past-due account that was over the limit. I pushed back as in "I don't think so, what account are you talking about" Within moments, they hung up. I immediately called BOA b/c I KNOW that is not true. They verified that I had no overdue account.
