These people called this morning. Called the number back and a recording says that the number has been disconnected. I don't understand how they can make calls from a disconnected number. Anyone know how to report these people because I am supposedly on a "do not call" list.
Autodial Recording - "This is an important message regarding your current credit card account, We have made several attempts to reach you. This is your final courtesy call before we are unable to lower your credit card interest rate. Press 1 to speak to a member services department or press 2 and your eligibility will expire."

PURE CRAP
About the "disconnected number" - These people use "Caller ID Spoofing" (Google it), which should ALSO BE ILLEGAL! This makes it impossible to report them, since they are unidentifiable. Tell your congressman that you want EVERY MEMBER of the "Direct Marketing Association" jailed, along with their lobbyists. Fat chance of this, since ALL congressmen are "on the take." You are merely prey. Fodder for the creeps.
Rec'd call today at 10:30 am automated voice saying this was my final call to lower my interest rate press one to speak to someone or two to be taken off the list. Well I have been getting these call alot so I knew that pressing two did exactly nothing so I pressed one to speak to someone and when they came on the line I asked them where they were calling from and they promptly hung up on me. So I called the number back and sure enough it said the number was disconnected, so I went on the net and did a reverse look up and this number is registered to Mark K Card of Daytona Beach Fl. Doesn't it seem a little fishy that someone named "card" was calling about a credit "card" I reported the whole thing to the FTC
