Received numerous calls about lowering Credit Card rates from this number.
I pressed #1 to talk to the beeacch, asked if she knew she was in violation
of FCC rule xxxxxxx (DNCL) and that I wanted to talk to the manager......
she hung up and I haven't heard back from them.
I appreciate that we have this forum to vent our frustrations about automated calling, but what I want to know is how can we stop them? I get these about once or twice a day. Obviously they're either scams or trying to elicit account info for ID theft. In any case, we should get some laws on the books. The do-not-call lists apparently don't stop the automated calls, some of whom probably work from overseas. If anyone has any info on what to do, please share!
Call came from Daytona Beach - I pressed 1 - Got a guy who answered, asked how I was - I said fine then asked "How do I get you folks to stop calling me once a day" - His reply ? - Quit crying, you're crying like a b#t#h - Then click -
